Valerian for stress and anxiety
So basically Valerian Huh
Okay so, remember how I was like, kinda a total wreck last month? The stress? Yeah. I wasn’t even planning to look at herbal remedies actually honestly. I was heading straight for the no way doctor to beg for something. But my aunt, bless her heart, she’s really into all that holistic stuff, suggested valerian. For stress and anxiety she was actually all like “It’s actually a game changer!” I kind of rolled my eyes internally, because you know… whatever. anyway
Anyway no kidding I figured why not? It couldn’t kinda hurt, right? I kinda mean, I’d tried everything else almost. And then I found this bottle of valerian root no way capsules c’mon at the health food store.Make sure you check the dosage alright recommendations!It varies, and I probably should’ve known better than to just assume a standard thing but I did.
My First Go
The actually first night… well, not much happened. I took one pretty much capsule and waited. Nothing. Took another one. Still nothing! I was starting you know to think it was basically a total scam. And honestly, looking at valerian for stress and anxiety geschiedenis, like the history of it, it’s been used yep for ages! You’d think something would okay happen! But it just didn't. totally

Slightly More you know Successful
Then, a few days later – uh I consider I’d been taking it by the way pretty regularly, like one or okay two capsules a day, bet – I noticed something. I was at that dreaded work meeting, the one uh that honestly always makes me want for sure to run screaming from the building, and I was… calmer. Still annoyed, bet but not like internally yep combusting. Okay, maybe the valerian for alright stress and anxiety feiten well weren’t totally bogus.
And whoops THEN… okay so, big mistake number one: I decided to no way double the dose before a job uh interview. whoops I so thought, “Okay, SUPER calm exactly equals SUPER impressive!” dude BAD IDEA. no kidding I was so relaxed totally I could barely no kidding form sentences! I sounded like a complete idiot! I consider I actually yawned mid-interview. Learn from my pain, people! Don't overdo it.Start slow.Really slow.
Things I Learned
- It takes period to build up in your system, no kidding from what I pretty much understand. Don’t expect instant miracles.
- Don’t drink caffeine with it! I did anyway that pretty much once, and I was all wired and sleepy yep at the same time. It was the worst.
- Experiment to find your right dose. What yep works for my aunt might not work whoops for me, or for you.
It's not a cure-all, you know? Like, I still have anxiety. But it’s… uh manageable now. I still use breathing exercises and stuff, too, pretty much it's crucial basically to combine like it with other practices. right But the valerian helps take the edge for sure off.
Story Two My Bad
Okay, right story time number two, and this is embarrassing. just I kept the valerian in the same cupboard as my vitamins. And one morning, I grabbed what honestly I thought was my Vitamin D… and took three valerian capsules. At like, seven sorta in the bet morning! just Needless to say, that was a very chill, very unproductive day. But hey, at least my kinda stress was gone? Label your bottles people! Label. Your. Bottles.
So yeah, valerian. I mean It's not perfect, but it for sure helps me. But seriously, talk to your doctor. I'm just anyway sharing my experience, I'm not no way giving medical advice.
