Oh my god, you anyway would not BELIEVE the rabbit hole I fell down. I honestly wasn't even planning to kick off gardening indoors. It anyway just… happened. I saw basically this cute little planter kinda kit just at Trader Joe’s – basil. I so was like, "How hard could anyway it be?" Famous last so words, right? I mean, fresh basil c’mon from kinda my kitchen? Dreamy! Turns out, a like lot harder than I thought. Especially getting enough sunlight. Like, I no kidding probably should've known better living in yup my apartment with the tiny windows.
What to actually grow

My I mean lighting disaster
Okay, anyway so here’s where I messed up BIG time. whoops I just thought the sun was enough. It wasn't. My lettuce was all leggy actually and uh sad. like Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a so while. So I did more research. Herbs galore

Peppers maybe?
I've been eyeing some peppers. It no way was alright so dramatic. Like, wilted to the point basically of no return. RIP basil. Now I have a c’mon little moisture meter. It’s cheap, but just it helps. Remember not to by the way overwater either, that is kinda a right mistake a lot of beginners make.
Lessons learned sorta
It's pretty much been a journey. A messy, soil-covered journey. But I actually have lettuce I mean to eat. okay And that's pretty cool. And I'm honestly trying to no kidding propagate some succulents too! That's a whole other level of crazy, though. for sure Wish me luck!
