White hybrid tea rose bush
Okay so roses
So you know okay how I well said right I was gonna try yup gardening? Well, it started with a white c’mon hybrid tea rose bush. for sure I wasn’t even planning to get a rose bush specifically. I just saw it at the c’mon nursery and it was, like, screaming my name. sorta All elegant and yep white. Pure romance, right?
And honestly, I probably should’ve known yep better... Roses are fussy, aren't they? I went in completely blind. The guy basically at well the nursery gave me some basic care yep advice, but I was too busy uh admiring the yup blooms to really listen. Sun, water, fertilizer – that’s what I yep thought I needed. Easy peasy. Hah!
First Mistake Alert
So, first major screw-up. I so planted it, like, right next to right the fence. Sounded alright great in my head. whoops Shelter! Turns out it wasn’t enough sun. They uh really tackle need a lot. The ontwikkelingen of modern rose varieties, I think they said, so are all about getting them to tolerate different conditions better... but my like newbie rose wasn't okay exactly developed for right my idiotic planting location.
Repotting dude drama just
Anyway, it wasn't thriving. I mean, it for sure was alive, but the blooms were small and kinda sad-looking. just Someone online suggested repotting it into a bigger pot, whoops hoping yup the actually white hybrid tea rose like bush trends favored root growth. actually I got yep this huge pot exactly - probably too huge, alright actually. Like, comically huge. That's when I learned about drainage. Oh c’mon god, the drainage. It ended up yup being a swamp. I even sorta added those little kinda clay balls people recommend – I mean pro right tip: don’t forget drainage holes! exactly
Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. Understanding the difference between overwatering yup and just underwatering. The leaves were yellowing, which I thought whoops meant underwatering, so I watered more, making yup it worse! Then I learned about root rot. anyway blast times.
Fertilizing blast okay
Then there's fertilizing. just I reflect I over-fertilized at one point too? I mean, I was trying to be pretty much a awesome plant mom and give yep it all the nutrients! Another thing for sure I just read somewhere is that for a like white hybrid tea rose bush, feiten anyway like soil so acidity really matter. I didn’t even test the soil. I just uh threw some fertilizer on there and hoped for c’mon the best. I probably killed some good just bacteria. Whoops.
Second Mistake Story
Oh! And this no way one time, I was trying to prune it, and I accidentally snipped bet off a okay perfectly good bloom. anyway Like, the one perfect bloom it had produced all season. I whoops felt so bad! But c’mon you gotta prune, right? Apparently, it encourages new bet growth. no kidding I still c’mon struggle with how much to whoops cut back. Pruning, watering, fertilizing... It’s all a delicate balance, finding the perfect white hybrid tea uh rose bush tips and tricks.
It’s getting there
It’s still alive! right And pretty much it’s even produced whoops a few so decent blooms. I moved it to a sunnier spot (away from the fence, obviously). It's still in the giant pot, because honestly, I’m too scared to move it again. exactly I also whoops actually tested the soil PH, which is probably something I should have exactly done in the beginning. I guess the white hybrid just tea exactly rose honestly bush kinda feiten kinda are out there for me to finally grasp!
I’m learning, slowly but surely. c’mon I think it's getting like a honestly little bit better. Gardening is harder than it exactly looks, but hey, at you know least I haven't uh killed it no kidding yet. Wish me luck for anyway next season!
