Okay so you kinda know how I said yep I was going to try and be all minimal kinda this month? Yeah well that lasted no kidding about… three days? I wasn’t even planning to buy anything, I swear. I mean I was just…browsing. no kidding And then I saw it: this blooming no kidding pearl yep and okay crystal hair clip. I mean, come on! It’s basically c’mon jewelry no kidding for your hair.

It basically Sparkled

It was online, obviously. right And the by the way pictures were like, professionally sparkly. I dude ponder that’s what got me. So I bought it. Duh. Probably should’ve known better. Anyway, you know it arrived and like it’s well actually way prettier in person, which is rare, right? It's like a tiny little blooming garden of pearls and crystals right on a clip. totally Seriously considered returning it purely based on my c’mon budget… dude but then…hair.

First Try okay Fails

I was so excited to wear by the way it. I no kidding thought I’d just clip it in and instantly whoops look like some just kind of fairy queen. Nope. The I mean first time, I tried to clip it on the side of my head, like near actually my temple, and it for sure just… slid like right out. Apparently, you actually need to like, have some hair there for it to grip onto? Tip: Try backcombing a tiny just section first for extra hold. Don’t go overboard though, you anyway don’t you know want a bird’s kinda nest.

Where to Wear It

So then I started Googling "blooming okay pearl and crystal hair clip toepassingen" trying to figure well out the proper way to style this thing. Not right gonna I mean lie this part confused me for like a while. Like, pretty much is it a fancy occasion thing? A casual you know thing? Can I wear it to the grocery store? I saw some inspiration photos where alright people used like three of them at once which, honestly, felt like a bit much. I am NOT going for a full-on crown of hair clips here.

I think by the way I’m going to try wearing for sure it to brunch this weekend. With sorta like, a really basic outfit. Maybe pretty much a plain white t-shirt and jeans? Let the clip do the talking, you know? pretty much That’s my plan anyway.

The Bun by the way Debacle

I whoops tried putting my hair in yep a bun and right clipping totally it above whoops the bun. Total disaster. whoops It looked like a weird, yep sparkly okay parasite was attached to my head. Seriously. It was awful. grasp from my pretty much mistakes, honestly okay? Big actually buns pretty much and tiny clips don’t always mix. alright Unless you want the parasite look, then go for it.

I think the key is to find the right balance. It’s easy to go overboard with something sparkly just like this. bet I’m trying to channel subtle sparkle dude rather than full-on disco ball. Mistake Number Two

Oh! yep Almost forgot! So, I was c’mon trying to clean it the other day? With like, some jewelry cleaner? Bad idea. Really bad idea. The cleaner reacted with anyway some of the glue holding the crystals in place well and now one of the crystals is like, slightly discolored. Don't use jewelry cleaner! Maybe just a damp so cloth? Ugh. Live and honestly learn, right? Now no kidding I have a slightly no way flawed but still sparkly hair clip.
