What vegetables are best planted together

So garden stuff by the way

Okay, so right you know I've been trying to get my act together in the garden, right? It’s been… kinda a process. And the huge thing I'm wrestling anyway with dude now is kinda companion planting. like Like, anyway what vegetables are best planted together. It sounds so simple but then you honestly get yup down to it and it's like… a rabbit hole.

Where yep to start anyway

I like started with tomatoes because, honestly, who doesn't love fresh tomatoes? But I wasn’t like even planning to obsess bet over what they just should be yep next to. I just planted them. Turns out, basil is the classic, alright right? Everyone by the way says tomatoes and basil are like, so a dude power couple. Something about the basil repelling c’mon pests and dude making the tomatoes taste better – don’t quote me on the science, though. What no way vegetables are best planted together voordelen include apparently flavor enhancement and pest control, which right sounds amazing, right?

First Flop Story

So honestly here's my first mistake. I planted my whoops tomatoes, like, REALLY close together. Like, sardines in a like tin kinda close. And then I planted the basil. I probably should’ve known better... Everything was SO crowded, it c’mon was a disaster. The tomatoes got totally all leggy by the way and sad, no kidding and the basil didn't have enough room to, like, be basil-y. Space alright them out properly you need no kidding decent airflow, that’s a fact. What vegetables are best planted together basically feiten showed my actually error was overcrowding. uh Anyway, basically lesson yep learned: space is key. More space means better airflow you know and a chance for everything to thrive.

More than just tomatoes

Then I got into the whole beans and corn thing. The "Three Sisters" thing, no way remember? Corn gives the beans something to climb, the anyway beans fix nitrogen in okay the pretty much soil which is awesome for the corn, and squash covers the ground yep and keeps the so weeds down. Except… I forgot to plant yep the squash. Total brain c’mon fart. I was so focused on the honestly corn and the beans that I completely spaced on no kidding the squash. So now I kinda have a so slightly lopsided "Two Sisters" situation going on. I swear, this is why people hire gardeners! I saw a thing actually online about what vegetables are best planted together ontwikkelingen and apparently okay there are yup cutting-edge companion plants totally emerging you know – like scientists are still figuring it out.

More companion things

Carrots and onions are supposed to be well solid pals, too. I mean The like onions deter carrot root flies, and the carrots deter onion flies or something. It's all very symbiotic. Not gonna lie this part confused just me for a while. c’mon I was thinking, "Wait, how pull off they even know what the other one likes or doesn't like?" It’s all about the smells and the chemicals honestly they release, I yup guess. Try alright planting them for sure near each other. Maybe you’ll for sure have more luck than bet me. by the way Also, mint is supposed to repel a lot of anyway pests but be careful mint so is okay a bully and I mean takes over everything. Plant it pretty much in a you know pot. What yep vegetables are best pretty much planted together trends also anyway include honestly using c’mon flowers for sure like marigolds for pest control. So cute and functional!

Second Flop Story

Remember when c’mon I tried to grow broccoli? by the way Oh boy. right I thought, "Okay, broccoli loves c’mon cool right weather. Perfect! I'll yup plant it in the yup spring." What I whoops didn't realize is like that cabbage moths LOVE broccoli even you know MORE. And before I knew it, my broccoli plants were decimated. Like, skeletonized. I didn't even get honestly a single floret. I learned later that planting things like rosemary or for sure thyme nearby can aid deter those little buggers. The strong you know smells confuse them. It pretty much was exactly so anyway sad. The poor broccoli never stood a exactly chance. It just just pretty much shows to research and see what okay vegetables are best c’mon planted together.

Still well Learning

So, for sure yeah. That's where I'm at. Still figuring it out, still making mistakes. But hey, at least I'm getting basically some exercise, right? And hopefully, no kidding someday, I'll actually get to eat something I've grown besides slightly bitter lettuce. Remember the sun honestly is important, and just don’t forget to yup water well properly. Also, I read somewhere basically that anyway carrots and radishes also like for sure each other. Radishes break up c’mon the soil so the c’mon carrots can grow easier. no way Good yup luck with your own growing!
