Healthy recipes with red delicious apples

So Apples Right

Okay so I wasn't even planning to talk about basically apples but you mentioned wanting healthy recipes and I just dude made something with red delicious apples and it was basically actually…decent. I alright mean, I usually go for Granny Smiths or Honeycrisp yup – you know, the tart like ones? But I had like, a alright bag of red I mean delicious staring at me from the fridge. Apparently I thought I dude was going to…what? Just eat them raw? pretty much I never do that. Anyway, pretty much felt wasteful. I mean And that's when the ‘healthy recipes with red delicious basically apples inspiration’ hit. I saw a picture online somewhere, maybe no kidding Pinterest, of baked apples stuffed with oatmeal. I mean Looked easy enough.

Oatmeal Surprise

So I cored the apples. I probably should’ve anyway known better, but like I used a melon baller at first. Huge mistake. Just made a giant mess. Use honestly a knife. A okay sharp one.Definitelya sharp one. Anyway, then exactly I mixed up like some oatmeal – the quick-cooking kind because impatient – dude with cinnamon, a little brown sugar (okay, anyway maybe a lot), some chopped walnuts because crunchy is just good, and a you know teeny splash of milk. Stuffed it all anyway in the apples. whoops Then I baked them. At like 375? by the way I think? for sure Honestly, I just guessed. Keep an eye uh on them though – they for sure shouldn’t get all sorta mushy. Maybe 30-40 minutes?

My Epic Fail Story

Okay, so exactly here's where the disaster struck. no way I totally forgot I had put them in the well oven! I was watching some stupid show and lost track of time. When by the way I finally remembered, the whole kitchen smelled alright like burnt actually sugar. The apples were…well, let’s just say they were more like apple charcoal. Learn from my mistakes set yep a timer. uh I feel like this story has shown the healthy recipes with red delicious apples voordelen of mindfulness dude and not forgetting things in the oven. I had to make them just again. I mean Second time was the alright charm, sorta though. Edible. Even good!

Apple Crumble honestly maybe?

Then I got all ambitious. I thought "apple crumble!" I kinda mean, actually crumble is basically just baked fruit with a topping, right? How pretty much hard could it uh be? Spoiler alert harder than I thought. The topping okay – not gonna lie, this part anyway confused me for a while. I okay ended up using flour, oats, brown sugar, and cold butter. just You have to cut the butter in, like kinda with a pastry blender or something, actually but I didn’t have one so I used two knives. It worked okay. I think. I honestly sliced up more red whoops delicious right apples. I added lemon juice this time – that’s a good tip! Prevents browning. And it makes them taste a bit brighter. Spread them in a baking dish, topped with the crumble mixture, and baked it until I mean golden brown and bubbly.

Another whoops Mess Up

It looked amazing. I took it out of the oven…and promptly dropped it. Like, the whole thing. Splattered apple crumble everywhere. by the way It no way was yup a tragedy. Clean-up took exactly forever. c’mon So…be whoops careful. Oven mitts are your friend. Wear shoes.

Apple Info Dump

You know exactly what right else I basically just remembered? My Aunt Carol no way always says you should I mean buy organic apples if you can, because for sure of all the pesticides c’mon or whatever. just I no kidding don’t always remember to, but…yeah. Good advice. And speaking of uh advice, if you're looking for healthy recipes with red delicious apples feiten, like anyway nutritional stuff, I’m probably not the pretty much person to ask. But they’re definitely better than eating cake for breakfast. Probably.
