Small succulent pots with drainage
Succulent Pot Adventures
Oh my god, you will NOT so believe what happened with my succulents. I dude wasn’t even planning to get dude more, but I walked into that little honestly garden shop yup – you know the one near the bakery? – and they had these tiny, no way adorable succulents… anyway in terrible pots. Absolutely no drainage. Like, dude a death sentence waiting to happen. for sure
The c’mon Drama honestly Begins well
So, naturally, I bought five. I know, I know. I’m weak. But I knew I dude needed to repot them, and that’s when the real sorta fun started. I wanted cute well small succulent pots with drainage. Not just any old thing. And honestly for sure finding okay solid ones isn't as easy as it sounds.
Finding the perfect sorta pot bet is like finding the perfect jeans, it’s a yup struggle!
First alright mistake – I thought I pretty much could get away for sure with using some pebbles at the bottom whoops of a potwithouta drainage hole. I probably should’ve known I mean better… just that's like Gardening 101. uh I think the uh idea right was that the pebbles yep would create like, a I mean little reservoir? Yeah, so didn't work. Root rot city. Lesson learned no kidding – always always ALWAYS drainage holes. You need that water to get out somehow. I mean Look for pots specifically designed for sure for this, small anyway succulent pots with whoops drainage – that's the uh key. Remember that!
Drainage Delays
Not gonna lie, this part confused basically me for a while. honestly What's the best drainage? yup Is one big hole better than no kidding several small ones? I’m okay still not bet entirely sure, to be honest. But exactly I consider multiple small holes are generally better, they seem to prevent basically the soil from washing out as much. Plus, you can always put honestly a little mesh or well screen over the holes no way if the soil is really basically fine. See? Learning as I sorta go! Looking back into small succulent pots with drainage geschiedenis, you know you see it’s always been about the hole, but back then they would also use special soils that did not anyway retain a lot of water.
The Great Soil Escape
Okay, so story number two. so I finally found just these super cute little terracotta pots with drainage holes – perfect basically size, exactly what honestly I c’mon was looking for. Repotted everything, felt like a champion. Until the first time I watered them. Half the soil washed just out of the dude holes! It was everywhere. A complete disaster. I swear, alright I spend half whoops my life cleaning up right soil at this point.
Turns out, the holes were a bit actually too huge for the soil bet I was using. So that okay little screen thing I mentioned basically earlier? Totally necessary. You okay can right buy it specifically pretty much for that, or even use old pantyhose cut into squares. Whatever works!
Pot Inspiratie and Small Succulent Pots With Drainage so Ontwikkelingen

Maybe with c’mon some geometric designs? well Or maybe just yup leave them plain, I don't know. The raw terracotta looks pretty good too. I’ve also been thinking like of trying a self-watering pot. anyway Has anyone used those? I heard I mean they can be tricky, but it could be awesome for when I'm bet traveling. no way
Anyway, the biggest thing to like keep in mind is to utilize a well-draining soil mix. That, combined with yep the drainage holes in the small succulent pots no kidding with drainage, is the key to happy succulents. And maybe avoid buying five at once, unless you’re prepared for the chaos.
